Kept meaning to get this done since having our little boy but didn't even know where to start. Rob has made this all easy and totally worked around us and the baby to get it done. We feel ready for whatever life throws at us. Thank you!

Future Life were very helpful, clear and professional whilst also being a friendly voice over the phone. We have been meaning to write our Wills since our little boy was born, to make sure he will be looked after should anything happen to us. I’m glad we chose Future Life to help us. It was all straight forward and easy. Even though we kept needing to change and update information they were so quick at getting back to me and updating as required. I have recommended Future Life to my friends with children and I would recommend them to anyone else as well.

Fantastic service and help from Future Life. We had been meaning to do this for a long time . Advice has been great, and Rob talked us through various options and how they worked, in layman’s terms, so myself and my wife both understood exactly what was what. Highly recommend Future Life Wills and will be recommending to friends and family for certain.

Future Life have been brilliant – very knowledgeable and were able to advise us how to go about organising our Will in the best way to suit our family. When you have a young family it is so important to make sure that you have everything in order should the worst happen so I feel a great peace of mind now. Very helpful and professional and I highly recommend Future Life.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the future life team. A very professional and friendly service, with your needs at the core of what they do. I hadn’t heard of future life 72 hours before this post; though I would certainly use them again and have already recommended to friends and family. Great job.

Specialist Will Writing for Families with Babies and Young Children

Whether you’re a single parent worried about who will receive guardianship of your children if you pass away or a young family looking to protect your loved ones in the future – Future Life Wills is dedicated to helping younger generations.

Law of Intestacy and Millennials and Generation Z Families

The administration of estates act is now 100 years’ old, passing in 1925.

The rules governing who inherits when you die were enacted before World War II and at a time when family dynamics were VERY different to the society we live in today.

For example, at the time the act passed marriage was extremely common with households averaging 3.5 children.

  • Millennials are far less likely to ever get married or enter into a civil partnership than previous generations.
  • A little over half of all Gen Z men (58%) women (56%) will ever marry or enter into a civil partnership.

The average children per family unit is now 1.7 in the UK.

Millennials and Gen Z are not shunning relationships – in fact many establish family units and co-habit without the formal legal paperwork. Unfortunately, when it comes to the law of intestacy, this means tens of thousands of live-in partners are being disinherited each year.

A will fixes that, expresses your wishes and overrides the default law of intestacy.
